Through Ethical AI
Supporting reflective practice, professional development, and responsible AI integration for Social Workers
Empowering Social Work

Aluma Hub is the central platform advancing ethical, reflective, and evidence-informed AI integration in social work practice. Anchored in the profession’s core values, the Hub brings together tools, education, and emerging frameworks designed to strengthen clinical judgment, deepen reflective practice, and support responsible use of technology in service to individuals, families, and communities.

Through Ask Aluma, Aluma Scribe, CEU learning modules, and curated professional resources, the Hub provides a grounded space for practitioners and students to think critically, interrogate assumptions, and engage AI with care rather than fear. Our mission is to cultivate ethical confidence, expand professional capacity, and ensure that technological innovation never comes at the expense of human dignity, client safety, or social-work integrity.

At its heart, Aluma Hub exists to help social workers navigate a rapidly changing landscape with clarity, compassion, and conviction — honoring what makes our work distinctly human while exploring how AI can support, rather than replace, reflective and values-based practice.

ASK ALUMA
Ask Aluma is a reflective AI companion built to strengthen ethical decision-making and values-based practice in social work. Rooted in the AI Integrated Reflective Practice (AIR-P) framework and aligned with the profession’s core principles. It helps practitioners slow down, surface assumptions, and think critically through complex dilemmas without replacing judgment or clinical wisdom.
Join Aluma to explore a new model of reflective practice, engage technology responsibly, and help shape the future of ethical AI in social work.

Aluma Scribe
Ethical Documentation Support for Reflective Practice
Aluma Scribe is an AI-assisted documentation tool designed to help social workers write clearly, efficiently, and in alignment with professional ethical standards. Guided by the AIR-P framework, it supports reflective phrasing, organized case narratives, and objective, values-centered language — without substituting clinical judgment, making conclusions, or generating risk assessments.
Its purpose is to streamline the administrative burden while reinforcing thoughtful practice, allowing practitioners to focus more deeply on relational work, ethical reasoning, and service to clients and communities.
